of all the reasons to be denied...

Well it looks like I will not be going to UCLA. Or at least it’s not likely. I did try. I went back. I found parking and avoided campus cops with anger management issues. I found Murphy hall and got all the paperwork together to go home and spend the evening applying online. My GPA is good. My test scores are good. I’ve completed every single class that they recommend before transferring and then some. And that’s when the girl behind the admissions counter burst my bubble. The “and then some” has made me ineligible.

So apparently there’s a cut off and I passed it years ago. After 84 (or 89?) units she says I can’t transfer for a BA. I’ll have to get it in the Cal State system where I started. She says I can apply as a junior and see if I can sneak by but technically it’s probably not gonna happen. I have around 130 units completed. So I’m gonna try halfheartedly but it looks like the new question is whether I’m doing CSULA or CSULB. Sadness. I’ll keep you posted.
